# src/test_runner/

Test harness for the hosted VM's test suite, run via
`./starforth --run-tests`. Organized in POST (Power-On Self Test) order:
unit tests → dictionary/word-category tests → integration/stress/
adversarial tests.

- `test_runner.c` — test harness orchestration (loads and runs all
  modules in POST order).
- `test_common.c` — shared test utilities.
- `test_contracts.c` — contract-based testing infrastructure (pre/post
  condition assertions around word execution).

Subdirectories:
- `include/` — public headers for this harness.
- `modules/` — per-category test files; see
  `src/test_runner/modules/README.md`.
